Those rappers are a dime a dozen. Every week, my friends who listen to that generic mumble have a new "favorite rapper". Young Jezzy, Young Buck, Lil Wayne....how many of theses guys are getting rich off of one song that hits the airwaves for a couple weeks then disappears. What frustrates me even more is that every single song is the about the same stuff; guns, bitches, cars, and money..nothing else. But you know what, it is going to continue and I am going to continue not listening to it.

haha dude, a lot of emo is also considered punk. I used to like punk way back in the day. Stuff like old greenday. Now everything "punk" makes me want to slit my wrists. For a lot of bands, punk and emo are interchangable terms.

i listen to a lot of rap, and i think most of it sucks. probably 75% of the rappers that release singles this year will be ghosts 5 years from now. g unit sucks -- their songs sound the same and they are basically told what to do and say by the record executives. its generic to say this, but underground rap is the best. every once and a while you get a rapper out of the underground that actually makes it and becomes household names (talib, mos def, etc etc) -- but for the most part, the shit sucks. my favorite rappers are styles p and mobb deep. the only thing that sucks about mobb deep is that they are now signed to g-unit so its gay. but albums like "murda muzik", "hell on earth" and "the infamous" are classics, and sorry if i wrote so much i cant sleep and im pissed off about a lot of things... but oh well.

classical music is the shit anyways, thats the point i was trying to make.

if the beat is dope, and the lyrics arent too generic of todays popular rap then ill listen to it...50 cent has 1 or 2 good songs. but all in all i hate him, i only listen to the good shit like jedi mind, and Immortal technique. those guys know a beat when they hear it. and they do talk about fucking bitches and killin people. but they also talk about shit like religion and politics and problems that are goin down in the hood. they are preaching the problems of today. unlike 50 cent who left the hood, and wont look back to help a brotha. musick is 2nd to me in skiing and i loooovvveee it. ahaha
