Root Beer

Anyone ever bottle their own?

When I was about 14 we got some kit from a crazy General Store. I put extra yeast so it would ferment and have really awesome alcoholic stuff. I bottled up the stuff and put it in my basement for a few weeks. One day I heard this loud cracking/pop noise from the basement. Then another. When I went down to investigate, I found two bottles were open and rotten smelling root beer was dripping from the roof. As a loud crack pop sounded again I witnessed a bottle top shoot off at an incredible speed and bounce off the roof accompanied by a stream of vile foamy grog. I was kind of afraid to transfer and dispose of the shit because I might've gotten capped. So I just left them to explode all night. Instead, it just expanded more or something.

Two didn't pop so my friend and I drank them. It tasted like we were drinking rotten vegetables. We both fuckin puked all over the place.

my friends dad owns a restaurant and they make their own root beer, sooooo good. and my friend and i always get some of the ingedients and stuff and make our own, and it too, is very good

um, yea, i didnt read the story, but root beer is a 'soft drink' so an alcohlic one would be, well, shitty i suppose

one of my friends made some of that. i guess one or two of his bottles exploded too. it was actually really good though.

Well if it ferments it becomes alcholic, just like pretty much anyother beverage inlcuding Apple Juice!

there is a place around here that sells all this stuff to make your own beer and they sell kegs and all kind of sweet stuff.

If anything can ferment, it can be alcoholic. That's why we put in the extra yeast. Ski_Bum knows what's up. I want to get some more of that stuff but umm... I don't know where to get it.

yeah ernie up there is right... pretty much anyting can ferment... i wonder if weed could?

Meh, how does root beer mix with rum or vodka or any other hard bar.
