Pretty much we're gonna go huge on Donner Pass during the first drop just to make sure we don't have avi control issues. Broken legs are so much better than avalanches
IL probably be there. It was raining on me earlier when i was there. it was ok such a shitty vibe though. I need some people to laugh with , all the skiers were all serious and shit.
WOAH SCOTT!! YOU have that hot fucking camo DC fit?! How did you get that thing? I was trying to get the neon green hotness but couldn't find it anywhree.
cant put out a flat bar when you only have 6 inches of base. The legs of all of our rails are either 1ft or 2ft high for stability. It will just be boxes until this cold front materializes and a) we can make more snow and b) the snow actually freezes..otherwise the rails would be constantly falling over.
I was there today, super shitty vibe and no respect for shit. Wasnt much fun at all. I did sell my ticket in the parking lot for a full refund though, good times!
there has been no snowmaking yet at Alpine due to the inversion, that should change tonight however.(they've tried but haven't made anything if not just turned the ground white once or twice only to melt)
Any features that go out will depend on the quanity of snowmaking over the next few days and coming weeks. Look for mostly rails before we build any jumps. i want to hold off until there is enough snow to make quality jumps outwise is becomes pretty sketch with the steepness of the run..the flow is off and people way over shoot the landings.
I'm glad we have Eric out there taking all these things into consideration. It's like everytime someone is like "why don't we have this?!" then Eric has a good f'n answer for it. Props.
