one lift and the snowy ribbon of D#$%TH you see in the picture. Its actually a bit wider after todays efforts. At the bottom where its wider we will put out some jibs.

DO NOT EXPECT MUCH...

atleast until the cold front moves into the area this weekend. we should be able to make snow to the top by saturday and run around the clock by early in the week. some really great snowmaking conditions are being forecast for later this weekend and into next week.

haven't finished the plastic on the s-box yet.

maybe the c-boxes...

we'll just have to wait and see what the snowmakers can do tonight and speed will be an issue for placing any of the tech'er jibs.

Just dont expect too much and we'll have a better time of it.

6-12 possible.

Ten day doesnt look great, but does look cold for blowing snow.....(highs of 33-34, lows of 12-14 in truckee).

cant put out a flat bar when you only have 6 inches of base. The legs of all of our rails are either 1ft or 2ft high for stability. It will just be boxes until this cold front materializes and a) we can make more snow and b) the snow actually freezes..otherwise the rails would be constantly falling over.

there has been no snowmaking yet at Alpine due to the inversion, that should change tonight however.(they've tried but haven't made anything if not just turned the ground white once or twice only to melt)

Any features that go out will depend on the quanity of snowmaking over the next few days and coming weeks. Look for mostly rails before we build any jumps. i want to hold off until there is enough snow to make quality jumps outwise is becomes pretty sketch with the steepness of the run..the flow is off and people way over shoot the landings.
