Okemo's "What I learned this Summer Rail Jam" is this Saturday, 11/26. Anybody here going to make it. Word is they have a brand new rail, $600 on the line and tons of other cool shite.

Oh, and on a different okemo note...Anyone know if they're gonna keep their rails and boxes from last years open in full park rotation. That big down and flat and f-d-f box?

they already have a u rail so that may be why its on there, it a big dip, which is real lame cause it makes it not trickable at all.

FYI, $15 to enter and you don't really need a lift ticket. The Jam is right at the base and everyone will be hiking it.

^yup..that is correct...it was set up today...there was also another flat box to down box set up too...the need to set up a little more cause 2 hits isnt that sweet for a rail jam...a snowboarder was hittin the u-box to down box pretty nice though

yea man i saw em settin it up they have a 25 ft flat-gap-down box set up and a huge u box to down box. deff licoln poss off the u box onto the down box. disastering looks weird cause the rail drops out from underneath u then shoots back up. it looks cool. i talked to the okemo park director and he said they are havin a super nasty staircase rail system built. they sent out plans and its under construction. its really long those fake wood or plastic stairs with a urban down rail flat down rail and down box very similar to those used at the us open. all the rails have a new coat of paint gold and green and they melloewd out that ridiculous battleship box. they changed its angel so its more mellow and hitable. they ARE keepin the long rails because they bought them the freeskiing open had nothin to do with that THEY hired someone to make em, same guy whos buildin the staircase rails. they have a few other new features includeing the flat down box set up on sapp which is nice but theres no drop off the end but its nice and not sketch. that F-D-F box t-morry i believe broke last year (JERK) is bein fixed up and will be out this year. AND FOR THE BIGGEST NEWS OF ALL! THEY HAVE A NEW PARK CREW THIS YEAR AND ARE NO LONGER THE HOME TO DEATH STEPDOWNS!!!!!!! they are goin to have almost all tabletops that throw you up more then out and have a larger longer landing. they have i think 2 or three new LARGE boxes, they look like they could be set up in a flat gap down box setup like the us open. P.S. if you go to okemo tommo from the top lodge go down to the right if the trail to the immediate right is still closed and havin snow blown on it, go under the ropes! me and my friend enjoy 5 runs of wonderful 1-2 foot powder curtosy of the snowmachines and storm. never bottomed out passed a dude on a snowmobile though he was mad. but yea its really really good snow and it takes you right to a trail without anyone seein jsut trust me its good. thats my okemo report for the day i saw everything mentioned yea they have a gay little ride on rail a small but fun 12 ft flat rail a really fun flat down box and a gay little rainbox box (thats cool to jump over)

thatd be balsy. the jump on to the u box is shit. the flat gap down is better fit for snowblades than skis. but it seems like the park is going in the right direction with everything theyre doing.

whatever, they get a new park crew almost every year maybe 2, and they still manage to make the most retarted step downs there are. untill they get someone who knows how to make park jumps with a snowcat getting a few new dudes to rake jumps isnt gonna help

I like the color of the box, knda makes me wanna cut my self, most likley in the wrist. but yea. seriosly life is pain, and that box just mad it more painful. Now i can end my seuffering and agony before i meet my fate, becasue in the end i will die.

the judjing sucked, obviously steeze doesnt matter at all when some fags come from up top to huck themselves with very tight pants on and let their skis pop off and never land. but they prolly won casue their soooo sick. i did the only double switch up in the comp and didnt even make the finals and my other niggas also owned with mad steeze when only one made it to the finals. i still poached though popping the judjes and slitting my wrists, lazy boys, pulling down my pants with no poles, and i slid the box better than half the kids their, just wait till my other negros come on here, SIck judjing

straight up, judging was awful, a dizzle, although your dub switch was after time you shoulda made it, the kids that made the finals really shouldnt have except for maney, who in the end should not have won, andrew holson should have won cause he actually landed more than one time in the finals. negative props to okemo on this comp, at least now i wont have to waste my money on any others.

lets put it this way, when a skiie slid the rail just straight the announcer said he did a switch 180. They had no idea what tricks were going down at all.
