Rossignol Scratch Sprayer - What's the deal?

Just flipping through a winter catalogue, and saw two rossi packages that piqued my interest.
First is the Rossi Scratch Sprayer FS with Scratch 200 binding for $549.99 (CAN).
Second is the Rossi Scratch Sprayer BC with Scratch 200 binding for $599.99 (CAN).
What's the difference between the sprayers and the regular FS or BC (I know the difference between the FS and the BC, I mean the difference between them and their respective sprayer models).
The rossi website says they're for "Jibbers who want a similar ride as the Scratch FS" or "rider who wants a ski with a similar attitude as its big brother, the Scratch BC".
are they just shittier versions?
I paid $579 for my 1080's and same binding. Is the sprayer FS stiffer or softer? I get the idea that they're noodle soft park skis, anyone know?

i belive the sprayer models have a wood core instead of the thc core like the normal scratches.
i'm not quite sure if that's it, i'm sure someone could correct me though.

Its a different mold than last years bcs/fs's.
They are wood core.
They are much much softer than their counterparts, or last years counterparts.
They are also much cheaper.
Its basically a ski to compete with the fujative, and mothership flite.

I don't know about the FS, but the BC Sprayer is also the same dimensions as last years Scratch BC, so only a 90mm waist, not the new 98mm.

The sprayer bc actualy has an 88mm waist believe.

ive been under the impression that the sprayer is just last years model. this theory fits with dimensions exactly, the only thing i dont know is materials. i know that previous scratch fs's have had wood core identical to the sprayer fs, so thats another reason for me to believe its just the same ski. its hard to believe that rossi would actually use the same dimensions for a new model, yet downgrade the materials, as larger companies usually dont tweak little components of ski making, they usually go all out.

Your theory about it being last years model is wrong.
Its a completely different ski.

The FS is based on last years FS ski. The BC even though it has the same waist width is a new shape from last years model. The difference between the sprayer and the scratch skis is the core material. The sprayers are wood core and the scratch skis have the THC core. The scratch skis are wider as well. The FS is 84 in the waist and the BC is 98.
