Where is the best place to go ski in vermont? Im planning a trip over Presidents Day weekend in febuary and was wondering where would be the all around best place to go? Where would I fly into?

Best place to ski would be Jay Peak, or Stowe, or one of those places. MT Snow has the best park though

What kind of skiing are you looking for?

for powder, head to Jay Peak

for terrain, go to Stowe, Mad River Glen, Magic, Smugglers Notch, or Sugarbush

for Glades go to Jay Peak, or Sugarbush

for Terrain Parks, Mt Snow, Stratton

the places that are probably the most uncrowded are gonna be Magic, Jay Peak, Sugarbush, and Stowe

okemo has a good park...rather flat though.

stowe might be a bit crowded but is probably your best all-around bet AND it has a connecting trail to smugglers' notch so...2 in 1 i guess. BEST GLADES on back side of smuggs.

jay won't be crowded and gets lotsa snow.

Stratton has a sick park, they are making an expert only park this year with hits all around and over 60 feet, I know i wont be in there often but it'll be sick to his those and even just watch whats going down, latz

jay peak gets a ton of snow, so its hard to go wrong there...although mad river can be awesome (but very crowded) on good days, i definetly wouldn't plan a trip there because the snow is too unpredictable and you could end up skiing on ice w/ the temperature below zero.

overall i'd say got to jay..

Sugarbush always has a crappy park when i go, stowes was alright, but i think i liked killington the best all around.

Go to mt. snow/stratton for parks
Fly into bradly in Hartford Mt. snow and stratton are only about 20 minutes apart
and from the airport its only a little over an hour if you drive fast and theres no traffic

just fly into burlinton, and hook up with some locals and ski whereever there is usually pretty good

Jay Peak is my favorite - amazing glades and back country (with real powder)

Stowe, Smuggs, and Mad River are good too (the good snow conditions aren't quite as consistant however)

and Mt Snow has the best park definetly.

Definetely hit Jay. It isn't like West Coast backcountry or anything but the hike up Big Jay is really worth it. The Dip (out of bounds on skiier's right from the timbuktu glade) is really fun too. The snow is amazing. Park isn't what it should be but there is a cool place to build a mean hit at the base of the main side.
