i do about 60% park and 40% all mountain and i am wondering where i should mount my scratch fs 05. whats the big difference between a true center mounting and a standard mount.
just do the normal point. I mean, they will still perform great in the park if you ski them well. The center mount would help with park stuff, but be tougher to ski outside of the park. Unless you are doing lots of switch riding outside the park stay with th rec. You could do +2 or so if you wanted
If you mount true center on most skis which don't have symetrical sidecut (like the FS) you are going to screw up where your foot is in relation to the sidecut of the ski and won't be able to turn for shit, it will ski horrible in other words. True center is only for a 100% park ski if you like the feeling of a big tail for landing.
If you only have one pair of skis mount on the suggested line.
