I was riding up storm king and while I was riding up i was noticing how it looked like there was some pow to the right of the lift. i checked it out and it was ok, a little frozon so I skied down it took the tow back up and did it again,I was probaly going like 30-40mph through it and i figured i should slow down but when i started to stop my right ski got caught under some pow and it spun me around and I slammed my back into the ground and I hit the plasitc thing ion the bottom of my pole, I have a huge ass bruise thier now. worst crash I have had in a couple years, and i was going pretty fast when i fell on my back

shit i can't wait until spaulding opens, i love to see how much airtime i can get off the rocks a little to the left of the gate - like the best thing at copper.

after you get off storm king and push over to spaulding to the east, you drop through the main gate / entrance and head down left for about 100 ft. you need to cut over before it starts to get steep. there not really cliffs, but just some steeper areas of rock that most people avoid and if you hit some of them fast enough you can soar and the landings are good if the snow is deep enough (really steep). i stuck a 7 off one two years ago while going about 50 and had enough air time for a 10 easy, but then i ate shit into about 2 ft of snow.
