ok heres the deal i could either get a d70 with a nikkor (sp)50mm lense and a tamron 15mm fish eye. or the new d200 base for the same price. i am putting a portfolio together so i would like the maximum resolution but have been told for a4 shots you cant tell the difference quality wise. the other thing that is cool about the d200 is it can use any lense since the 70s wich is a massive bonus because i have older film lenses. so the question is has anyone else used both cameras if they have which would they prefer for ease of use features etc. thanks for the help.
My dad has a D70, their great cameras. He can print 13"x19" at poster quality (with a good printer of course...), which is pretty nice. There is a stigma lense you can get for them that run's about $300-$400, you might want to consider that too.
