How much longer do you think the park is gonna last? They have to close almost everything at the end of each day because the inruns and landings are so rutted out.

i dont know how they do it, but every new day i go up there the inruns and landings are all covered nicely, but yeah at the end of the day they are f'd. i think they may keep doing that until it gets too scarce to have anything on the inruns and landings.

We had a good sesh on the jumps this morning. I busted some sevens with opposite grabs which I've never been able to do before. AND I FUCKING BUSTED A RIGHTSIDE 5 OFF THE WATERFALL I WAS SO FUCKING STOKED ABOUT THAT!
AND GRANT'S DOING FUCKING SWITCH CORK 7'S WITH GRABS, HE ONLY LANDS ABOUT HALF OF EM BUT WHAT THE FUCK!? I REMEBER THAT KID BEING A SLOPPY SKIING LITTLE BITCH THAT TALKED A LOT OF SHIT. AND NOW THAT HE CAN ACTUALLY BACK UP THE SHIT HE DOESN'T TALK IT ANYMORE! MY FUCKING HERO!

well its 25 ft from takeoff to where you dont want to be landing, more like 35 ft to where you want to land. plus the jump is like 7 ft tall or so, im sure they arent too whipped around

Ahh Schwags, no doubt they are hucked, BUT hucking your meat is damn fun sometimes. Smoking a bowl and cruising around isn't everybodys cup of tea, some of us are in it for an adrenaline rush. And who the hell are you to judge the style of a trick you didn't see? Grant's never been the big style king, but give him a chance, by the time he's our age he'll be at a whole nuther level that I couldn't dream of touching.

big up to shwags for knowing that more time in the air means more time to steez, but i have to say big up to grant, the waterfall is the only jump we really have the opportunity to hit at this point; he wants to learn new tricks, and chances are that if he gets a trick down hittn' a skethcy small jump, he'll probably be able to make it look easier hittn' a super smooth big jump.

I also would like to burn up all you complainers out there, you dont have the power to make snow fall from the sky so quit complanin'. I couldnt have asked for a better opening year session........ after what happend last season! The mountain opend almost a month ahead of time, the park opend with plenty of features that have kept me happy through two weeks of ridin', the park crew are doin what they can with snow they have.....RASpect. In the next two weeks we are supposed to get plenty of fresh snow.....YEAH!! InI raspect everyone that is having fun and enjoying the mountains, but if your just up there to factor in everything thats wrong, and cirtisize the mountain, than you honestly dont need to be there, you just kill the vibes for the rest of us. If you only critisize than you will get cut down to size; we need to be like little children when up in the mountains; we all remember how pumped up we'd get if it was going to snow...the anticisipation was alomost to much to deal with, nerves alwyas went crazy. All InI sayin' is that if you focus on the negative that is all you will see, but when you focus on the posetive you begin to see and think posetivly. There are many things that can make a mind lead to negative thoughts.....dont be distracted!! The things in skiing that InI see can be distracting are 'competition' and 'material competition'-(which includes terrain parks)
But if we can be conssious of how these things can lead to negative thinking than we can still over-stand and have fun. There isnt another place in WA. that you can ski tomorrow that has a better terrain park than Stevens. Cali, Utah, and Colorado dont have any snow, so InI say just enjoy what we have! When we can conssiously reason with one another as Humans that is when we can progress with posetive vibes!!!

snow was soooo nice at stevens today...snow lvl at like 1200 feet...snowed all day and i doubt it will stop tonight...tommarow looks like a beautiful day but sadly i have to get ready to go backt o school....blaaa but i hope everyone that goes up has fun

i suppose you could get first tracks on poopy poo, but i dont know who would want them. the jumps today were nice and soft (except for when grants head was hitting them) and the boxes were set up better. hogsback was fun too, all those fun rollers and stuff going down through daisy!

I emailed the park crew, or whatever the link on the stevens website is and I got a really optimistic response. They're working on making a bunch of lines that flow really good, with tables that go in a row. I don't know, overall it sounded like they are gonna put together a pretty nice park this year.

i ride with chris a bunch and he says as long as we get an average amount of snow, their plan is to set it up similar to the way it was 2 years ago, with the jump line in the top half of the park, except with 4 jumps instead of 3. they have finished the wallride so they'll put that up somtime later on. and they're working on a new suprise jib!!! you all will have to wait and figure it out. but i can give you a hint, they had it at mammoth...
