ive been hearing about the invaders feeling short despite the length...anyone can correct me or back this up?

since there center mounted the feel shorter because you have just as much ski in the front and the back. hence center mounted ski.
and line skis measure all the way to the tips, rather then just the running length.
so yes the tend to ski a little shorter.

at 5'8 is 172.5cm
so you could go either way 171 or 178
unless your really heavy go 178
for pure park 171 should do you well.

how heavy are you?
the 171 will be almost at the top of you head.
either could work for you.
at 5'8 i think 171 would be better than the 178, unless your a heavy 5'8, or like a longer ski.

yeh i'd just go for 178 because there really soft and centre mounted which makes them feel shorter.

Still, even if they feel short, they arn't. So it's easier to ski. I can't wait to get on mine. Woo. I love winter.

Last year I was on beat up 165 concepts, then a couple days into the season I bought 185 arv's. They were 20cm longer, and 20mm wider, I decided they were to big, and sold them, although sick.

my advice to you is to get a ski length that is about from your nose to the top of your head. personally i like skis to be at the top of my head or a little taller. its all personal preference

im 5 8 and have the 178's the go to my forehead. and im same weight as you. i love these skis, i came off a 169 fujas. and i can tell you that there isnt much difference at all from a 171-178. measure out 7cm, its basically nothing man, especialy with center mounts, just go with the 178. you will grow into them trust me. im somebody who has seen both lengths, and im basically same body type, and im realy happy with the 178's. hope this helps

no way. 178 for sure. once centred it feels more like a 171 anyway. it will be better everywhere including park. i know people shorter than you on 178's

how about me if im like 5'8 5'9ish 140lbs. and yeah im gonna use them for only park.
and does having them longer make them butter easier or the other way around.
