you can mount them wherever you want and the pop will be fine....i ski perfect core center, but you can mount them however you want..if your not spending 50% of your time at least riding switch then i would say mount them a hair behind true center...your call..but it wont mess up the pop of the ski dude
the back mark is the center of the sidecut, the forward mark is where we found a good balance of sidecut and swing in the skis. They are so light that I personally dont find a need to mount them in the exact middle of the skis.
You can find the middle of the skis by measuring tip to tail and do the math.
The forward line is a good spot. I personally mount my skis 1cm behind the forward line.
