Flippin' Bush and his stupid ass war. It now costs me an extra 3 cents per litre to fill my bloody car up, damnit! fuck! stupid ass son-of-a-bitch. If my lift tickets get more expensive there's gonna be damn hell to pay Bush!

what's up with this gallons crap? And gas? it's not even a gas! It's a damn liquid. Only freakin' useless ass gits would call something a gas that isn't. Mmmm, reminds me of America. (No offence to those Americans who are actually intelligent)

And yeah, skierdood. I'll walk everywhere. I'll walk the 400kms it takes me to get to the mountain, and the 120kms to get to the beach. Yeah, that'd make the world a better place wouldn't it, fucking retard.

Ya know the great thing about the american system is that NO scientists really ever use it in calculations. I've never used PSI as a pressure measurement in chemistry. Sometimes we use it in physics, but more often or not we're using the good old metric. But ya know that's just what America uses for some reason. It's kind of self centered for metric using people to think we should use the metric and just as self centered fpr an american-using person to call someone stupid for not using american measurement terms. It's still a pressure to confirm. Granted I wished we'd use the metric system, except for using C temperatures in weather forecasts, I like the way fahrenheit has a lot more degree changes that corresponds more sensitively to temperature change. But once again... you'll never see a chemistry or physics measurement using fahrenheit.

Find your own gas?? Riiight. So how does gas coming out of foreign countries in Africa and Southern Europe belong to America? No wonder the world hates the USA, they're so freakin dumb.

And so what if New Zealand is part of Kyoto. 120 countries are. All the Kyoto proposal means is that they charge a tax for producing CO2. America produces 1/4 of the worlds' carbon dioxide alone. It's just another way for the fucking government to take more of our money away.

the main reason for the lift in recent petrol prices is the strike in venezuela by oil workers. and tim - kyoto will entice people to actually start using alternate fuel sources, which will mean better consumption to performance ratios which equals more money in our pockets.

The rise in oil prices is also due to the increasing cost of crude oil costs due to stock-piling in fear of an American attack on Iraq.

And it won't neccessarily mean more money in our pockets. I think probably that if a new fuel method was developed it would most likely be incredibly expensive as it was started. In the long run, sure, it would be cheap but how long's that going to take? And a lot of non-harmful and environmentally friendly fuel alternatives have been developed in the past but have been bought by fuel companies and hidden away. Perhaps to be used when fuel runs out or whatever but perhaps not. People have even dissappeared.

And yes, the Kyoto agreement should encourage increased use of other fuel alternatives. But I think it's pointless that NZ signed it. We're a country who is so small and on a global political scale, vertially insignificant. However, if anyone wanted to claim Antarctica by force, they could only do it through us.

The increase in price has a lot more to do with a strike in Venezuela. Tankers take weeks to get from the middle east so any stockpiling that is effecting us now is from stuff happening a while ago or that is waht CNN said atleast. And on lou dobbs or whatever they were talking about how we will probrably use some of our emergency reserve or something like that.
