Plasma and weed

ok. something really weird happened to me and i think i almost died. last night at about 630 i donated plasma. now i had drinken 3 cups of apple juice, a capri sun and 2 cheesesticks before to help me donate better. that's all i ate. now i got done with the plasma at about 730, drove about 15 minutes and smoked a pretty small bowl with my friend at about 815 and i only got like 3 hits off it. and i have smoked soooo much mroe than that in the past. like eighths in a night. so it was not like i had never smoked before. anyways, we were chillin for about 10 minutes and i decided we should go upstairs to get water. as soon as i stood up, i lost my vision, like these little black squares flooded my eyes and i couldn't see. then my hearing became muffled, next thing you know i'm on the ground. i don't remember too much besides waking up at the top of the stairs wondering what happened. i kept asking where i was and who people were. and i sat there for a bit, and then i gues i jsut passed out again. i woke up after my friend told me he was going to call 911. and i was like no don't do that. and i came too and was sitting there for a while until i got myself up to go to the bathroom. i went in the bathroom and no joke i looked dead. my eyes were hllow and blackened and my lip color matched my skin color. later on i puked my brains out. i wanna know what the fuck happened to me. i hinestly thought i was going to die from smoking weed. scariest thing in my life

yeah he pretty much freaked out on me. as soon as i started acting normal again he made me go home. like kicked me out. but it's understandable i guess. that was some freaky shit. bad night

if your small/skinny, since your a chick in the first place you probably lost a sizeable percentage of your blood. I dont know why, but drinking/smoking with less blood gets your way, way, WAY more drunk/high. And ive seen non-smokers do that before after not much weed, so probably you just lost a LOT of your blood, and that one little bowl was just too much

it's pretty simple, you lost a substantial amount of blood. therefore, the thc in your bloodstream was less 'spread' among your blood, causing it to be more concentrated, hence the reason you got fucked off a few bowls.

That was really dumb.

You should have eaten AFTER as well.

It's not like eating all day, and when your body has really low blood sugar, and you smoke a bowl, you get crazy light headed, and have a possiblity to faint. Basicly symptoms of a diabtic who has low blood sugar, they brain just pretty much stops working properly. Some thing happens to you.

Lesson Learnd.

Same Deal when you donate blood, your not gonna go run and play soccer after, not good idea.

eh. i smoked AFTER. i didn't have weed in my system.and i've done it before and they never said anything. i don't know this was probably one of the sariest moments ever. but i still don't believe you can DIE from smoking weed even after giving plasma. but i think i could have actually died

passing out is all that would happen, you can't die from that unless, you hit your head on te way down.

i had my first passing out experience this summer, and i concur it is very fucked up. I woke up no idea where i was what was going on, my kness where bleeding and bruised i hit the concrete so hard, i basicly fell straight down from a standing postion in a second

And it was because 1. it was extremely hot outside, and my body was sweating alot and being strained 2. my blood sugar level was probably a bit lower then normal and i needed to eat. 3. i smoked way too much

The thing that saved me hen i woke up was a someone was forcing sprite down my throat.

probably one of the weirdest experinces of my life, i thought i was dreaming, had no clue what happened, just blacked out.

The same thin happened to my friend. He smoked a total of 2 small bowls and like 10 minutes after he said he didnt feel good so he went in to the bathroom and was in there for a while. So i went in and saw him on the ground dry heaving into my toilet. Scariest shit of my life. I honestly thought he was dead (i was high too) and it was like the 6th sense and i could see dead people. His eyes looked like he just got the shit kicked out of him and his face was soooo white, as were his lips. So then i made him drink and eat some food abd he was ok after a half hour of just chilling and watching tv, but ya, very weird.

yeah its not a big deal at all, when you stand up all of the blood rushes out of your head so if you already donated blood you obviously had a lack of blood in your sytstem, so when you stood up all of the blood just rushed out of your head and you passed out, you were probably more prone to it because you were high, but its not really like anything bad happens when you pass out, just as long as you didnt hit your head on the way down, my buddy here just passes out some times when he rips gravs because they are such big hits and when you rip them when the grav is on the floor and stand up the blood does the same thing rushing out of your head and you can pass out, so i wouldnt be worried at all if i were you, lacking blood and passing out isnt a big deal, same thing with taking a big gra rip and passing out, some people do it and others dont, but its not like you almost died or you got hurt

Plasma contains about 75% water, so I'm almost positive you were just dehydrated. I got really dehydrated at a concert from drinking and smoking weed and I had the same thing with the blurred vision of grey squares.

yeah i didn't think anything bad could happen cuz when i went blind i kind of sat down. so no chance of falling. but the kid i was ith like hates me now and won't talk to me cuz he thought i was gonna die. so with him freaking out on me i was really scared. and i think i was really dehydrated. i just feel bad cuz i ruined this kids night.........

well if the kid was freaking out and thought u were dying hes a douche, hasnt he ever seen someone pass out from being drunk, or even taking a huge rip, i couldnt imagine what this kid would do if he saw someone having a seizure on mushrooms, so tripping would be a bad idea with him, just in case

this is true. i have freaked out before, not that bad, and i've been with people who freak out, not that bad, and i don't know i never got all scared and shit. he was flipping a bitch though. and now that i think of it, it was kind of ridiculous. like most people find humor in it and that makes me feel better but he straight up went crazy

yeah like the other day when i was ripping gravs in my dorm bathroom and my buddy ripped one and stood up to blow it into the vent thing and just passed out standing up and fell over like a fucking tree and nailed his head, luckily on my carpet, he just got up and was like, "oh i needed to lay down" and i burst out laughing cause it was just funny

Gravity bongs make me smile.

It wasn't laced though was it? Because I know someone who got it laced with LSD and they passed out but after that they had the best photographic memory I've ever seen for like 30 minutes. He could see a flash of light in a dark room then navigate himself through the entire room because he could remember exactly where everything was.

i think you just blacked out cause of not having all the blood in your bady that you had a couple of hours ago.. durring the summer when i play sports and get in really good shape my blood pressure drops so much that everytime i stand up i black out and then a few times i would black out and fall over and have seizures for like 10 seconds, but i never died... so i think you'll be ok

Ok this is simple. You jsut passed out, same thing has happened to me. You donated blood, so your aniemic, and I can't remember if weed slows of quickens your heart rate, but its because of a lack of blood, being high doesn't have a big part in it, you only had three hits, that's deffinatly not enough.

smoking a bowl after givin blood means you can take a single resin hit and get high, not the worst idea...same sorta idea as smoking when you first get to altitude. East Coasters comming out to say colorado enjoy the first few days of their substance abuse because they are light weights again

i went to the roots concert in seattle last thursday with a couple of friends and i passed out during the one of the openers after puffing on a joint. sounds about the same, it was dark in the show and my vision started to go really dark and red, my hearing became muddled, and i slowly started to lose my balance standing up at which point two of my friends grabbed my arms and helped me to the bathroom. i remember sort of waking back up and walking myself through a hallway into the bathroom and going into a stall and just sitting down. as i walked into the lighted bathroom i also felt like i was tripping really fucking hard (i had only smoked this one j all day). after about 10 minutes i felt way more normal and walked to the sinks where my friends had gotten me some water. i looked in the mirror and i was paler than i had ever seen myself (you said you looked dead, that sounds about right). i kept drinking more water and i started to feel mutch better, if a bit shaky. we went back to the show and enjoyed the rest of the night, i even hit the other two j's we shared and i was fine. on a side note i caught ?uest love's drumstick, found ten bucks and my friend found a hundred dollar bill(no joke).

i was really frightened and confused when it happened, but afterward i was embarrased as hell about it. after that subsided i was just grateful i had such good friends and i gave the drumstick to the two guys who carried me to the bathroom.

i attribute all this to the fact that i hadnt eaten much all day and only had a quick bowl of ramen noodles for dinner because we were late to the show.

i have also been rediculously high at other concerts and this has never happened before.

moral of the story is if you are a small person (im 135 lbs) eat plenty of food and drink plenty of water before you get plenty high at a good concert that you wouldnt want to miss because you passed out during the show.

actually, that's not true either. there are two types of anemia, iron deficient anemia, which basically means your blood lacks iron, you bruise easily, makes you kind of tired...what not. then there is ANEMIA which is where your body does not produce blood to replace lost blood as quickly as it needs to, or at all. so HA!

seeing the squares is good, normal anemic or dehydrated pass out. Going completely black and not waking up within a minute or less is bad. You are fine just donated effects some people more.
