We didnt have as much snow as I had hoped for after the plow out. With all this natural snow (a foot!!!) we wanted to have wall to wall coverage of man made to go undernieth it. We did that, and now we;ll be making more snow to put up the rest of the stuff. a table requires many many hours of snow, so be patient, dont bitch, and just bare with us. We'll get them going, and it will be fun.
Like ryan said, we have a down up down, the urban style 60, a 20 and the mini park. the 60 came out really good and I cant wait to get it cut and perfected tomorrow.
trap is out of the ground. Im waiting on snow making to go nuts this week.
Here's a question... which bannana set up was better, the early season or the late season? I personally liked it better when it was higher up the trail with the drop off set up, but what do you guys think?
^^he just told you guys to be patiant and not bitch. everyone knows jumps are needed, but if youve been to the hill lately youll see that we need a shit load of snow coverage just to cover all the rocks up. wait till the snow making is done and some rails are set. enough with the bitching about how important it is for a table... he knows
what do you mean I know? I dont ski, skiings gay. Rails are too, who slides metal, dumb. I personaly am pumped about my Atomic Beta Carver 1200's that can slalom turn in and out of the plastic poles. and dont you know, jumping wrecks your skis, what kind of fun is wrecking things?
nothing... some small rails and the butter box might go in but dont count on them being open... the 60 and dfd got pulled out today... they are just makin snow this week so its pretty shitty
are you kidding me... the park set up is sick as hell dude. what do u mean how are you spose to do the fdf?? and the idea is to come off the rainbow and into the table, or you can go around perfectly well too...everythings just set up real big which is just sick
i was at sundown today, and on the first hit of the day, i overshot the 30 footer by about 30 feet. landed right on my ass i slid into this group of boarder sitting down right into this hot girls lap. good shit. couldnt walk for 10 minutes. well its 6 hours later and there is a huge bump and all blue. i was sitting in the lodge nursing myself and i saw someone throw a 450 off the f-d-f. holy shit that kid was good
Overall its good to be hitting real rails again but to bad the table blows. Its still really early in the season though so considering the time the park is sick. Flat down flat, dip, and rainbow are all pretty mint.
Yo Sundowns Park is insane... Its Decemeber 18, and this time last year sundown's park was on the bunny hill. What Jarrod and all them guys have done is pretty impressive. So what if the table is small, its Decemeber. Oh and one more thing, after that "weak" table as some of you said theres a flat down flat, which I'm sure only half the people on this thread could grease anyway.
So before you go off running your motuh on how "the park wont flow", "the table is weak" remember its early december.
same rails on higher mounds. bitch and complain all you like, im pretty satisfied with what we have and so far there arnt to many kids throwin down so you cant say anythin is a pussy set up
no i agree with you the rails are straight up crazy. i just wish there was a wide, gentle trail with all of the features on them like a big mtn. but overall, they are doing a sick job. the flat-down-flat box is amazingly ill. btw, after my accident yesterday, i cant ski for a month, as told by the doc. fuck
