^i wouldn't get too excited, everyone is working super hard just to get it open... so i wouldn't expect them
But there are a couple rails that are painted and ready to be put on the hill
If any of you guys see me down there, come approach me and say hey. i dunno half of the people from this forum. I'll have on white pants and a black DC stencil jacket prolly, and Beast boots, look p12 jibs (TM bindings) and Liberty Choppers.
ill be sure to. ill have a cream k2 jacket, grey pants, will be with 2 snowboarders that im pretty sure are new to it, they just said they were good, but they are the only ones at school who actually skis/snowboards regulary.
red fujatvies, mounted like shit and too short. white/black hat, black anons probably. blue poles-unless i decide to use the wood ones i found.
i'll be there from 12 to close probably. i think waht is going to be open, and please don't quote me on this, is tuff, backstage, beginners area, audition and meadows, and far side. center is a possibility for saturday, but since the top slid i don't know how much that affected that.
Today was so sick. when its like 9 degrees out they can make so much, really incredible snow. i was content shredding center all day, then it got one upped when we put the little kink, and descending single barrel rails out. Sick snow, bluebird day, two rails.... good for day.
you all need to get down to perfects tomorrow...it's so sick, they've been making snow since last night non stop. 2 rails out, fun to mess around on, but i'd suggest going out and making some turns.
i hit it later in the day a few times (after my 2 initial wipe outs that left me with a bloody nose that i didnt realize i had until like 5 minutes later) and i actually got it. then i fell off and hurt my back. shows my ability.
I hit it also, my first rail ever to, it was quit easy, slid the whole thing both times. Although the lip was pretty messed up by the time I got there.
its weird in over 7 years skiing there i have never seen them blow snow like they did this year. only blew snow on the main runs, to get open early. leaving chair 5 bone dry with no snow. good plan to get 1/2 the hill open. had a good time friday with the bluebird skies, saturday was not as fun, snow was sticky and slow, less people = +.
well yeah but not usually NO SNOW... i usually see some white. it was weird seeing just green grass and no snow around. when usually there is a dusting around haha
they decided to hold off on chair 5 because we were initially going for chair 3 and far side, then once we got them open we were going to start up on the rest of chair five, then the forecast for this week looked like it was gonna destroy hopes and dreams so we chose to try and get a little more base where we already have snow to stockpile, its a little different that normal but i still cant believe we opened before heavenly and a ton of other places with actual snowfall....
I was there rocking my old ass white line ghettoblasters until my mad trix come in this weekend. Good times. Gotta few looks from some people laughing at my skis which I thought was kinda funny. I'd laugh at someone who rocked 133cm skis too haha. Can't wait for the mad trix 2002 style for this weekend.
yeah center has slid like 3 times already, once before opening, once while open, then the past two days slosh said pretty much all of center slid to a big pile at the bottom of the steep...took him two days in the winch cat to get it back up there, and he got the winch cat stuck
The park has a spine now. When i built it, it was about 50' long and probably 12 feet high but they might do some shortening to make it wider and make it so you don't hit a tree if you land wrong... but yeah there will be a spine in Perfect's Park from Wed. until probably after this weekend.
Who is responsible for updating the terrain report on perfect north's site... it would be nice to actually get to see what terrain is available for that day because its kinda hard to tell on the cam sometimes.
That spine looks very nice however, its a shame I have a final exam today in Calculus... this is BULLSHIT hah
