Whats up guys this is just a call out for info so I can figure out how much we can offer you guys at the comp....

Here is some preliminary details.....

It will be a true slopestyle (meaning judged on STYLE) put on by riders and judged by riders.

Three hits, all set up with nice wide take offs and gaps to rails with some flow to it.

Registration is going to be 20 dollars to preregister and 25 the day of the competition, Tyrol gets 10 dollars of that for all the work they are going to put into it, and the rest of that cash is going for prizes straight up.

I need to know how many of you will be attending so I can get an idea of how much cash will be up for grabs. Im personally guaranteeing 250 each for skiers and snowboarders (yes, equal prizes for once). Id like to get that up to 500 if at all possible, so tell your snowboarder friends to come as well.

I have a pair of Rossi Scratches up for first place plus cash, and second and third will have goggles and shwag and possibly some cash if you all bring out the posse. Boarders will win the same (a board plus cash).

BONUS ROUND

The winning skier and snowboarder will go head to head for an extra hundred bucks cash in a straight up huckfest on the barnbox, so bring your a-game.

Skiers are judging the skier comp, boarders are judging the boarders comp. A team of two skiers and two snowboarders will judge the skier vs snowboarder shootout.

A final note, this is Tyrols first rider run event, and a succesful showing will encourage more events like this in the midwest, so have fun, keep the atmosphere positive, and support the people who support you.

jeeeez.

people wonder why are sport goes nowhere, we finally put together a comp that has equal prizes for skiers and boarders and all this guy can do is complain about something.

Yes we are a new site and dont have much up yet, but its free to you and free for shops and resorts to advertise, people like you dont help much.

Thanks to anyone who supports what we are trying to do, anyone else....just dont come out for the event.

Who cares what those guys think, they're like 11 year olds, can't spell, and just post nasty things towards people because they don't know how to appreciate a good thing when they see it. Keep up the good work!

The MM Crew supports your cause, Shelby Bennett, and probably a few more riders maybe a total of a dozen MM riders might make it.

The more that show, the more cash will be up......so tell your snowboarder friends because the cash purse will be equal regardless of number of riders.

As of now, minimum 250 plus Rossi Scratches for the winner (250 and a board for snowboarders) plus the 100 dollar huckfest.

Second and third prizes at minimum will be Oakley Wisdoms and other shwag.....

Come out and support this rider run comp to start a trend in the midwest.

WOO HOO! Lots of fun and lots of sweet prizes! These guys are going to be putting together a great day! I will hopefully be there - but I am usually the one that ends up working the shop. :( [BS] will definitely be doing whatever it takes to help these guys at snowcoupons.com and to make the event one of the best in our area this year!!

tyrol has been blowing plenty of snow, the course area already has a 16 inch base.....no worries there.

Our only worry at the moment is thinking of just HOW crazy of jibs to set up for you all.......

Quick update for all you up and comers out there, LINE ski founder Jason Levinthal will be posting our video of the event on www.lineskis.com and viewing it himself.

This competition will be a good chance to be seen nationwide and gain some exposure, bring your a-game.

Prize update......

1st place 250 cash plus rossi scratches. 2nd place oakley wisdoms and dakine backcountry pack at minimum. 3rd place spy goggles. These are the minimum prizes, a strong turnout (even from boarders) will help me maybe add some more cash.

All finalists will go home with a prize (20 total) and prizes will be tossed for best crash etc.....it will be fun.

We are setting the course tomorrow, ill post a preview. Who is coming?
