Places to stay in Banff over new years

theres this sweet little hotel called the banff springs its tottally chill and cheap and a short walk from downtown check it out its where all the hardcore skiers stay who like to party

the is a hotel at the beginning of main street called tarmigan. its not cheap. however is you ask the front desk guys for a cheap room. they own the other 3 smaller apartment looking motels right beside them. i forget the names but last year we got a huge room which included a living room with TV and couches and tables, a bath room and 2 bedrooms both with 2 queen sized beds. The place cost us like 100 something for the night. Like $140.00. divide that between 4 and your looking at 35 bucks a night each. with 8 people in the room. which it can easily sleep. it could easily sleep 16, its fucken huge, its only 17.50. best deal ive ever found in Banff. We didnt stay over new years so you can expect a price hike. But theres so many benifits. Its 4 or 5 minute walk from the bars. The front desk guy gave us some deal to wild bills were we got pitchers for 12 bucks or something. You can use the Tarmigans steam room, hot tub and everything else. plus you get heated underground parking. go there.

Go to www.vrbo.com. It's a site where owners of aprtments and condos rent their places to tourists. Usually cheaper and better than hotels. I've used it quite a few times and have never had a bad time.
