nevermind, dont know how to post pictures. Anyways you hit a jump and land on a huge block of snow then jump off that? I havent seen any in the park in colorado.
Exactly .And in MX/SX it's usually a step-on/step-off.
Depends on exactly how the feature is set up. If there is a big elevation difference between the lip of the first jump, and what you're landing off, then that's the step-up part. then if what you're jumping off has a landing much lower, then it's a step down. So step-up to step-down, or if it's all relatively the same height, step-on/step off.
I'm sure it's actually called the motorcross thing...
I've heard skiers/snowboarders refer to the block of snow as a "butter box" or "butter thinger" or something like that... as the idea would be to do butters... but the quick kick at the end facilitates tricks.
I'd be stoked to see one of those things that was just flat all the way across so you could step up to nose butter to nose butter 360 shifty off... that would be dope.
that one is a bomb drop they built to replicate the train tunnel they drop off earlier in the movie. its not the same cu they took a ladder up that. the butter box isnt as tall and theres a jump up onto it. sammy c kills a butter box combo in war.
