Replying to Skis and Lights

...dont mix. you know how there is the "post your set up" thread, so i was on NS last night, thinking of what i could do, i look at my camera on my computer desk, and i was like ill take a pic for that thread. So i get my helmet, goggles, poles, jacket, pants, boots, gloves, everything but my skis. Its all layed out on my bed. And i knew something was missing, My skis. Haha i know you would think it should be the first thing i went to get. Anways, i go grab them, and im holidng them perpendicular to the floor (thats to make a 90° angle for all of you wondering what it is), leaving about a foot gap from teh tail to the ground and a foot gap from the tip to my light, which just so happens to be right above it. All of i sudden my dad opens my door, and yells BOO!. I jumped, my skis smoked the light, it comes down, all over my equipment in tiny shattered pieces. Great.. and i never ended up getting the pic. My tips were ok, thank goodness, those things are like kids to me. Moral to the story? lights and skis dont mix.
