Hey peeps, i just got offered a time share in washington, its in manson wa? im just wondering what the nightlife / park / big mountain scene is like, ive checked out the sites but its hard to tell from the pictures... what are the main mountains, and would you hike ur ass across the country to ski washington?

your looking at about a 1 1/2 hour drive to Mission Ridge, and 2 hours to Stevens pass. Manson is in upper Lake Chelan, real sick place to hang out in the summer, not sure if theres too much going on in the winter though...snow is sick here, just wait for the next dump

hahaha manson......that place is rediculous. yeah its right on the shores of lake chelan, and nothing goes on there. pretty much, its a bunch of mexican immigrants who work in the many orchards there and just chill around town. i would NEVER want to live there, but during the summer its ok.

Mission is fuckin cold in the winter... God damn. Be prepared for that because I never am, lol. But otherwise, its a sick place to chill in the summer, but once again, not sure about the winter.

During the winter Manson is a ghost town. If your gonna go I would go during 4th of july or memorial day weekend. But the lake is way too choppy then to go wakeboarding, but there are alot of people getting wasted and the town is packed.

if your looken to get a timeshare somewhere to ski, dont hang out in the PNW, if your gonna do it might as well go somewhere awsome where u know you wont be skiing on dirt

man just mapquest from Manson Washington to stevens pass, mission ridge, or snoqualmie pass. You decide if the drive everyday is worth it. The parks are getting pretty sick, and the snow is some of the lightess you will find

hard to say, sometimes its wet and heavy (but still very powdery), and other times its extremely light, just depends. although i must say, the last few powder days ive had have been very light

Steezin you just said something very illiterate. Seattle is #1 ski town. Maybe Miami is #1 nightlife city. I personally would have to go with whistler though for both. Eventhough the mountain is packed it is bohemoth when compared to other resorts, and a short drive into vancouver has some dope nightlife.

in my experiecne baker get the most snow, yet it tends to be the heaviest.
stevens gets less than baker, but sometimes the east winds help out the snow qual, leaving it light n dry
mission ridge, is quite different with storms sometrimes they get 2 or 3 inches when stevens gets 9, and vice versa, bu mission definatly has the lightest snow usally.
and snoqualmy...

best day skiing at Snoqalmie i had all last year was on MLK day, I-90 was closed for most of the day due to like 5" of ice on the road because of the freezing rain, we get up to the pass, hike up the park cuz everything is closed and skied the park all to ourselves. when we were done, we were covered in about 1/2 inch in ice everywhere....

its not, thats the point, but for snoqualmie its decent, for once it wasnt full on raining...
