Replying to Is there a way to protect my new 04/05 PE's top sheet before use

Hi everyone!
I just purchased brand new 04/05 PE's for $200 and just want to know if I can do anything to protect the top sheets from chipping (as I hear that will happen sooner or later).

If possible I want to protect the top sheets before I use them for the first time.
