id like to go to killington for this weekend, the wesite says its gonna be open, but is there any chances that theyre gonna have rails set up in time???
hopefully this rain doesnt destroy the snowpack too bad, and then its supposed to cool down so they can blow snow like crazy on thursday and friday night.
^ Yeah, even if the bush opens its going to suck. A million people on one trail with only a few inches of cover with only one lift. Fuck this 60 degree bullshit.
Well the temp is gona drop like 30 degres in one hour at like 10-12 tonnight then the rain posibly will switch to snow before the storm pases early tomarow morning then its cold enough to blow at least at night and prob on the summit for a long time, hopefully
im gettin nervous im supposed to go to jay on the 27th and this rain is bugging me out. i think they will only have one run open anyways...the jet..but whatever.
hopefully things change and okemo can blow snow all night tonight and all day/night tomorrow for top to bottom. Maybe the temps will drop and this rain will turn to snow. Wishful thinking
I agree, im still goin though. But who knows, the weather can be unpredictable tho, maybe it'll get colder faster then they expect. On the other hand though it could stay warm as shit too long and they wouldnt open at all
It's raining here @ Mount Snow but still hoping beyond hope that Okemo and Killy are still gonna open this weekend...don't give up yet-keep checking back to their websites...today on the radio I heard ads for both those mtns opening still.....
weather.com says the temp at stowe is gonna drop to 33 and thats not taken from the mtn, so hopefully they can get snow makin in the next coupld nights.
They were blowing snow a couple days ago. You could see the trees around the trail were white. NOw its to warm, but its sopossed to snow later tonight, maybe.
