Hey guys i've been freeskiin for 2 years now an i'd like to ask u what boots and shall i choose cuz i'm using alpine ones but they're heavy an uncomfortable while doing spins. I want u to tell me what are the main diffrences between the boots or are there any speceial features each boot has. To be honest with u i don't know shit about freeski boots so be kind:D
i like my lange banshee 9...very comfortable...im pretty sure it molds to your foot...i got my boots off ebay for 100 bucks...very good price...did i mention very comfortable..i wan wear low socks and not get blisters with them
i ride the salomon 1080 foil boot it is a very soft and light boot the difference between alpine boots and freestyle boots is the freestyle boots are alot softer and have alot more cushion underfoot so when u land short/long it dont hurt as bad
please, dont start a thread asking what type of boots to buy unless you have spent at least an entire day of hopping from ski store to ski store getting fitted. in doing this, u will also get the different opinions you want. after you have narrowed it down (you need to know what brand/style fits your foot and such) then come on to the site, post your 'research' and ppl will give u their opinions. until you do something like that, youre wasting time, your own and everyone elses, by just compiling useless opinions. this isnt a rant, its just what you need to do to get a good start on finding the boot of your future. oh yea, you can use the search bar to search for threads about this, there have been several lately. but def go and get fit. cheers.
^also, tell us what your lasts boots were and exactly why you didnt like them. is it just because they were too heavy, or did they have a sloppy fit? were they too stiff for the landings? stuff like that always helps.
