Yah they are supposed to be like that, butter zone makes an easy butter, but overall you get an even stiffer flex for riding, which is what the video on the Line site says.
Actually they were recalled, mine just broke and if you call any suppliers about the problem, theyll tell you to get them replaced by line. Mine delaminated after only 1 MONTH!
are invaders stiff enough for all around skiing? im looking into skis for next year and am thinking mostly invaders, chronics, ar5s. i have 04 05 pes right now but they are a little stiff. id like something a little flexier that can still ski all around.
Just now, I'm really getting the complete control of my 178 Invaders, and I'm so happy with them. They can ride out of almost any fucked up landing, regular or switch. And they are super soft. If you don't like a soft ski don't buy it, I love it cause I'm with snowboarders all the time, and they butter like crazy, and now with the flexible Invaders I can have fun too. They are in the middle of the weight scale, if you get the smaller Invaders I'm sure theyll be pretty light. With my Axium bindings, They weight 7 pounds (i think thats what it was) on each foot. The only problme I have with them is that they arn't that great on large backseat landings because they tend to flex a bit, and the cosmetic topsheet thing is a pain in the ass.
So the shorten it up...
PROS:
-Super fun buttering, have some fun on flat ground.
-Easy switch landings, and small fucked up landings.
-Easy to manuveur
CONS:
-Slides out on large backseat landings
-Cosmetic problem is a pain in the ass
