Sounds like they'll be descent. But LibTech refuses to call them skis. Rather, "Narrow Ass Snowboards", kinda cheesy if you ask me.

^^ i am sure if a core ski companey went out and was makeing an inovative snowboard they would be embarised to addmit it becuase of the reactions of hard core skiers. They actually sound pretty good, but who knows how good it they are in practice

The guys at Mervin are calling them Narrow ASS snowboards as a joke, not because they are ashamed to be making skis.

That company is 100% behind the skis, and they are stoked on skiing. That is why they have been working on prototypes for longer than most of you have been skiing.

How is that homosexual? All skis should be sold individually. Think about it, how many times have you destroyed one ski and had the other one perfect still, but you can't get it warrantied because it was rail damage or someshit. I think it would make things a lot easier.

never...well, never so far, i try to buy skis that dont self destruct on themselves. annnd idk, i always was told to check the numbers on teh side of my AR5's, cas they are sopossed to match up

anyone know if they are going to use the magna traction?? that shit looks dope and Travis Rice swears by it.
In case you don't know, magna traction is a wave like edge in the middle of some lib tech boards that is supposed to be like cutting hardpack with a steak knife. check out your local board shop if you haven't seen it... could be the next big advancement in snow surfing.

They are only shipping to like 2 stores in Canada. And surprisingly, one of those stores is a skate store in my liitle ass town that just started selling skis. Oh well.

You can rpob buy them directly from them. Whatevre weather you like the skis or not you have to give them props for even makeing them. its the first step. Aslo i heard that mike wilson was rideing them, is that jsut another NS lie

But if you had to replace one ski half way thru the season wouldnt one of your skis be broken-in and the other one not?

i dunno what that has to do with anytrhing.... and you must not ski much park if you've never broken a ski, and still had a totally skiable one. Normally people blow out the endge on their dominate ski. Like, my inside edge of my left ski is worked.

hey man peace and love! can't you see all snowboarders hating on skiers and all skeirs hating on snowboarders cause fights between each of their own kind. personally im stoked both sports exist. haha anyways all this skier vs. snowboarder shit is gay. and you should be stoked that another company has started making skis think as it as more choice for what you wanna ride and selling them individually isnt very bad
