SD = Secure digital
CF = Compact flash
compact flash is like, four times larger than sd. you don't want sd if you need a cf card.

except that he talkin about a mini sd card, which is used primarily for cell phones but with an adapater can be used in anything that takes regular SD

what phone do you have? and did it work in your phone? i know most all phones that ues a mini sd cant use a 1 gig. like the sanyo 5600 or the lg 535, I've had both and they dont work, and i dont know any that do. phones that use a trans flash can use any though such as a treo of ppc-6700.

I've never opened it so I don't know, but I know it works because my friend had the exact same phone (Audiovox SMT 5600) and used the exact same mini sd card that I'm selling and it works perfectly fine for him.

thats interesting, especialy for a phone of that age. they only jsut started making 1 gig cards. i dont doubt it though.

1gb mini sd's been out for a while. Its been out before Cingular started carrying the audiovox smt 5600.
