so i finally had my invaders out to a montain on friday, i took em to lake louise for some nice long groomers and plenty of screwing around on little gaps and side jumps and i only have one thing to say about these skis: AMAZING, probably the funnest (not sure if its a real word but im gonna use it anyways) ski i have ever rode. its really solid for landing and greay switch, and one u get out to the tail and nose its really fun and easy for butters and presses, i was having a blast doing fakie nose presses while traveling as fast as i could go, i cant believe how fun and solid these are, they tore through the crud, were really quick to turn and super solid and fun, i highly recomend these skis!!!!!!
yeah i might get some like mid season just cause there cheap. are they like really really easy to butter or like fujative easy to butter? cause i want a ski thats like super soft and super easy to butter.
i weight about 170 lbs and am about 5'10'', 5'11'' around there, as for butterability, i would say way easier than the fujatives, amn i cant wait to ski these again this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well you can just lean back and press down the mountain. but you cant just think butter and do it. they are just really easy to flex. if you dont know how to spin on your nose and tails then you have to get that obviously. doenst make it easier to do it, just softer. presses are easier though
the review is on point. the skis are unbelievable going switch.
Has anyone ridden the invaders switch and also ridden any other ski mounted center switch? Cause last season I had center'd madtrix and am just wondering if anybody noticed better switch riding with invaders over another center mounted ski.
if youve seen session 1242 and ridden the invaders, answer me a question. in tanners part, he goes switch up a little table or somthing and then manuals for like ten feet. is this do-able on the invaders cause the butterzone?
its all about leverage. i ride MSPs and i can butter those, and they are pretty stiff. you just need to know how to do it. obviously its easier on a softer ski but its doable on and ski.
ben it was hilarious watching you dick around on those bitches...and yet you could keep up with me cookin down the groomers n i was on my fuckin pollards man...I CAN'T WAIT TO GET MY VADERS!!
the one thing that makes them ski better switch better than other skis center mounted is the symetrical shape, the sidecut is the same wether you're rideing switch or regular so they carve it up switch very well.
