To sharpen or not to sharpen

I work at Buckman's ski shop's in southeastern pa, and the guys at the shop are having a debate. Some of them aren't even going to sharpen there ski's this season since they ski mostly park. I ski mostly park to but some groomers/pow and i always get them sharpened. So do you think it is better to have them sharpened and just dull the center edge for rails? or to not get them sharpened at all?
