High preassure garden hose?

I have recently become hooked on this whole idea of snowmaking, and even tho there is an ice rink within walking distance from my house, i really want to give it a shot. So far i have established that i should build a tee gun. I have several different air compressors and a friend who owns a propane dealership (so presumably an unending assortment of valves and fittings at my disposal). But after reading about tee guns, i was wondering. My house has 2.5 inch pipes that feed the garden hose and the hose has a pretty high output, would this still work with a tee gun?
