My friend has that camera and really like it... I think its a good buy for the price, but take that with a grain of salt because I don't know very much about cameras.

If you are looking into getting that camera, I would probly think about a different website... the one looks really sheisty. They are selling a gl2 for a little over $1000, which means something is not right...

i would take that over a GL2 anyday, vx2100
is a different story but that is a great camera. DO NOT BUY IT FROM THAT WEBSITE there are like a million retailers out there that are total scams. check resellerratings.com for info

i have this cam. overall i couldnt ask for a better camera. Everything about it is perfect for what i do. It is a heavy camera so it will take you a bit of time to get use to. i had a much smaller 3 chip before this and the first few times filming i was kinda shaky. Its got a huge LCD screen. all of the controls are very easy to use. manual focus is great on this cam. U can set it so that there are 3 user settings so i have each one with a differnt shutter speed, and shit like that. if you have any other questions send me a message
