armada's are made by more then one company different process for different type of skis i guess

they are now made by elan, but they were mad ein a factory outside mtl for the first two year but they didnt get along so armada switched to elan becaus eof better manufactureing processes

No. Because it's bullshit.

Armada skis are made in the elan FACTORY. That's different than saying elan makes them... but draw your own conclusions.

yeah, I'm really starting to get pissed about all of these rumors starting on NS. Someone always posts a bunch of 3rd-hand crap, that they heard from a "reliable source". I know some rumors are part of it but hell, it's just getting rediculous now. It's like I can't trust anything I hear on NS anymore. So do Newschoolers a favor and if you don't know something 100% from a direct source... DON'T POST A BUNCH OF BULLSHIT INFO.

Just so you guys know, a Rep told me this.. I had a clinic for Fischer/Salomon/Rossignal and the Salomon guy told me.. I'm not saying it's true.. just what I was told from a professional.

fuck oakley does not make armada, its two british guys plus a partial athlete ownership, and yes i did hear that some models are now made by atomic, both atomic and elan are CONTRACTED by armada to make skis, but both atomic and ean have no design input or financial stake in the company

not true. oakley funded armada in the beginning to help the company get started. that is why the origianal armada team was all oakley riders (maybe there wer a couple exceptions). but oakley never owned armada. now armada is funded by a british comapny and their skis are pressed in factories owned by elan and atomic. im pretty sure that this is all true but don't cite me on anything

some are made by atomic and some are made by elan. i think the ar5's are by elan and the jp vs. julien is made by atomic but i'm not sure about the other ones.

some are made in atomic's factory and some in elan's. if the serial number is stamped on the sidewall its made by elan. if the stamp is on the top sheet near the tail it was made by atomic.

yeah this dude is dead right...i posted this ages ago. Armada is nothing to do with Oakley, Elan or Atomic. The impetus for the starting up of Armada came from the UK media conglomorate Sports Vision. They then contracted the atheletes. Then it went from there to the Armada you know and love today.
