i have a sony hi8 camcorder and i filmed a lot of skiing and biking and stuff on it. i want to know if there is any way to get it onto my computer. any help would be greatly appriciated.

you need a capture card first, and if you dont already have the cables to hook it up get them. good software helps too. pirated still good. but capture card is the main thing. they go from about 50$+

or find a friend with a dv camera and digitize it on his cam with an anolog in cord

you could run it from your vcr into your comp if it has a TV tuner card
