Eff up your skis? like as in scratches in the bottom or permanent marks? Just wondering... i don't really do rails and i wanna get into it.

well if you do rails all day all the time it wont be good for them but its ok
i had trouble makers and the edge blew out but that is whatr they are known for

well you don't want sharp edges to do rails obviously, so you might want to detune them a little if your only using them for park, otherwise leave um be. scratches don't matter

Once a box cut up some kid's skis at my local mt but thats it, if your edges aren't super sharp and if your not coming down hard on the rail then your skis won't show too much damage after a while of sliding. My skis always just got dirty bases and dulled edges.

a kid i know was hopping onto a rail and took off too early. he slammed his ski in the pole holding up the rail and flipped onto his neck spraining it and breaking his wrist. his ski cracked and his edge popped off, by doing them normally nothing like thAtll hapen

yeh man last eyar was the first yer i was doing rails...my skis are just fine...no cracks...warps..nothing....but i have white bases so marks show up easily...
