Skiing Game: SSX on tour

I heard that on the new ssx for Playstation you also can choose a skier! is it quite good or just shit? i didn't tried it yet, but does anyone of you know about it?

You don't have to unlock it, you just at the beginning of the career mode (the tour) choose whether u wanna be a skier or a snowboarder..And in the quick games they are also unlocked.

Personnally I don't think it's that much better than Jonnhy Mosleys Mad trix and we know how much that sucked. It's way too unrealistic. The only way to get a good score is to do the gay tricks that you take off your skis and do a handstand on them on a rail (that's a real trick in the game). when you switch up it only does half a switch up so you're doin 50 50.

people like you annoy me, we had petitions all over NS for the longest time to send to EA sports for a skiing game. And now that we have on you have the wisdom to bitch and complain about every aspect of the game (your not the only one either). If you find its too unrealistic go to freeride and pull tricks that arent insane, you are the only one who makes it unrealistic. It may have some stuff that would be impossible in realy life but seriously look at the main benefit of it; we have a ski game and thats one step closer to something like Amped.

word, the game rocks, once you get the hang of it. Like slow spins are so fun and rails. It's just cool to have atleast some skiing game, that's playable.

1.) as your leaving the lip of the jump/just getting into the air press a spin direction (for example left on the d-pad).

2.) as you start spinning...with the left analog stick press it diagonally (either up+left, up+right, down+left, down+right) -- certain directions look better than others depending on how your spinning so try different options

3.) once you've set your rotation into a cork, on the d-pad press the opposite direction than you had set your rotation (so as with our example we would press right on the d-pad because originally you are rotating left)...the idea of this is to sloooow down your rotation so you dont do like a cork 1440.

Once you figure it out it makes the game waaayyy sicker. Its sorta confusing but its not bad once you figure it out.

Thats because all EA can do is rotate snowboarders and put skis on there feet.They dont even make the boots look like ski boots, they look exactly like snowboard boots. they honestly dont give a shit what skiings actually like, they just want us to buy the game so they can make another snowboarding game. like shit, they didnt even make a full on skiing game, they made a snowboarding game where you can ski.
