Anyone ski copper this week?

I am goin to copper next week just wondering if anyone rode there this week and how it was hear its been snowing a little out there i am flying out from NH for a few days just mounted up some skis for the trip just to cover all the bases.. here they are.

I had a few great knee deep runs last Saturday, but that's all gone now.

I'll be there tomorrow and will let you know. The coverage was pretty good last weekend though.

They also have up more features than anyone else as of now.

I haven't skied copper yet, but I have been spending some time at A Basin. 15 inches of new snow last Saturday with more in the forcast. Nobody is really riding with pow skis as of yet, but hopefully for all of us, you will be needing them.

well i am an east coast rider and i ski pow skis in almost any condition so i may pull mine out.

iwas there today, good time, super fun sesh with a lot of the groms killin it.

Snow was soft and tons of racers training.

Dooooode, it seems like there are more and more racers every year. The thing that bothers me is that they have a whole section at Copper (and usually at A-Basin too) where it is closed off for them to train and chase gates, but then they come out into the public areas in groups and do their one-legged exercises from one side of the run to the other or they just make huge GS turns from one side to the other while assuming everyone else will watch out for them. It just clutters everything up so much more than necessary.

^yeah... damn racers. I hate em. As they ride the lift over the park, they were hootin and hollering.. and laughing.. Well, WHAT THE FUCK... the joke was on them. haha. dumb asses.


anyways, copper is sweet for early season... It looks like the whole moutain could be open. There is a lot of snow.
