Uploading Vids from a Canon digital camera HELP

I have a powershot s45. So far I've uploaded a postage stamp sized area of one photo to stick within the limits on this site.
I also have some video footage on it that I want to upload.

Unfortunately my camera came with a french manual and I have no idea how to compress photos or upload videos off it.


any help much appreciated and you get to witness me skiing some nice couloirs in chamonix and courmayeur

Bawb, I can trace this wanting for abuse back to your childhood i see it all the time. See growing up you had two dads, whereas everyone else you knew had a dad and a mom. This put you in the 'outsider' catagory right off the bat. Some of your earliet memories were bad sounds coming from your parents bedroom. i have a similar camera and kind of have the same problem, but my movies are always blocky on the computer. because my adobe premiere is pirated, i can't get an update and i think that's all it will take.

I just learned how to upload videos from my Canon Powershot G3. when that automatic screen shows up when you plug the camera in to the USB port, instead of just going to NEXT and then uploading your pictures, click EXPLORE CAMERA on the bottom. Then, click the canon symbol in the main window to display everything you have on your camera. Then, select the video you want, and go to SAVE...

That's how I upload from my camera to the computer. Uploading onto this site is a different story....I just recently tried to do that, and it didnt work.

We'll have you dead pretty soon.
