Help for a friend...Choosing Skis

My best friend growing up just got into skiing last year. He only went for a two week vacation, so the only skis he has ever skied are demo Salomon Pilots or something like that. He is going to be comming to visit for like 10 days this winter and I told him he would be better off just buying something. He has about a $800 cap for skis/boots/bindings. Being a relatively new skier, he has only ever skied all mountain (no park), but I did recommend some twins for him just because it can't hurt to have them. Since he is a relative beginer, I am trying to stear him towards skis that are a little softer, but still in a 175-180 range bc he is about 5'9'' 180. Here is what I have recommended so far, keep in mind price is an issue, also he will be skiing in Colorado-
All of these in stock at Untracked.com
06 PE in a 179 $399
06 Sprayer BC 176 $399
04 1080 in a 181 $339
What others would you recommend?
Keep in mind he has to get boots and bindings to go into the price too.

I think that the Fujative is too park oriented for him.

check out twintipnation.com they will hook you up right. just call them and see ask about some skis and bindings. if you call them you normally get a discount. I haven't bought anything from them but japanada and BP4SMP have and they got good deals. you should look into it.

hey man, definitely not the 1080. Ithink they are too soft :/ I weigh a littl emore than he does. The PE is a great choice. Also, Burrito on here was selling TMs with PX12 for $450. That is a great deal, snag him some 182s in that, perfect. The sprayer isn't a bad choice either. $800 is a lot more than you think. Just make sure he gets GOOD BOOTS. much more important than the ski
