Hey, whats the backcountry like at red. Does it have easy access. Is it nice open pow fields, or is it steep and narrow. are there spots to build good kickers. and what is the avalanche danger like, is it high or low risk. thanks
-For booter areas I would suggest Whitewolf Ridge because there are some decent spots and avys aren't really a factor (although you can never be to safe).
-There are great spots for kickers on Grey but I don't like going up there unless I'm prepared for avys and shit.
-Avys here aren't as bad as the WH20 BC but if you're planning on hiking make sure you come prepared.
When are you comming here? There are lots of Red locals on here that would be more than happy to show you around. I sent you an invite to the Kootenay Cult so check that out for more info.
