actually i would:
exposure: 481 seconds (8 minutes)
aperture: f/13
iso: 200

when i took that pic there was a pretty bright streetlight diagonally behind and to the left.  thats why the bridge has an orange-ish glow to it.
id be happy to answer any other questions about long exposure photography as it is one of my favorite things to do!

for the long exposure did you keep it on bulb and just hold it down with your finger? or what?

because mine is up too 30, then bulb.

First of all it would help me if u could tell me what ur shooting with. I have the canon t3i (and love it). When you use the bulb it is always good to get a remote so that you dont introduce camera shake into the picture. I was able to pick up a nifty 3rd party remote trigger (if u shoot with canon I can give u more information/suggestions). I can either shoot on bulb and hold down the trigger or program the trigger to keep the shutter open for much longer than that standard 30 seconds built into the camera. The longest continuous exposure that I've done so far is 10 mins. Definitely let me know if u have any more questions, I'd be happy to answer anything!

Do a night shot of a city scape. Make sure your DOP is infinite blah blah and keep your shutter open for 3 hours. There should be an option to where you can click your 3rd party remote once to open it and again to close. I have yet to try a 2-3 hour exposure but it should give you somewhat of a daylight type shot with no shadow. You might have to go longer.

No offense because i know you were just trying to be helpful, but if people honestly need a chart to figure out how shutter speed changes with ND filters they seriously need to have a better understanding of their camera first...

Easy tough guy. Not everybody likes doing division during their weekend pass time. I found that and posted it because I'm getting a 10 stop filter myself (lee "big stopper") and I sure as hell won't want to divide ten times to find my exposure.

that picture looks decent for a first try but keep working at it and look for tips online.
if u plan on layering them or "stacking" google the program called "startrails"  its distributed as freeware and its a great program.
this is my stacked image. its 4 images stacked, each exposed for 5 minutes with 2 seconds of lag time.

^those ones of the cat are awesome, especially on the window!

id like some feedback on this picture (possibly for some +k).  Believe it or not it came out of the camera looking just like this.  I cropped it down because there were some ugly power lines at the top of the image and I made the sky slightly more defined but thats it!

Thanks! and I really like your photo, the angle is great and I like the placement of the car in the photo. Maybe crop it even the slightest bit more just so that the Porsche (which is very nice I might add) is as far left as possible. Wouldn't do a lot and just kinda a personal thought, good job.
