.jack.Took some dog photos the other day.
.HEROI love the first two. What lens and settings were you using?
.jack.They were both shot on the Canon 50mm 1.4. I'm pretty sure I shot them at f2 or something close to that.

*Birdis that your sister??
finnolydorbFew shots from my school's sailing trip this past week, lemme know what you think.
kamiThe boat shot is really cool. Her face looks mad weird in the third shot with that blur
finnolydorblemme know what you think.
CheddarJackCaught an amazing sunset from Smuggs a few weeks back. I really enjoy the simplicity of 1 or 2 tone mountain ridges... I've found myself getting better at finding pleasing lines in them but still definitely have room to improve. Anyone have any tips/feedback?
saskskierCouple of shots driving home last night.
jblaskiCompletely love the first shot!
Not sure what camera you're using, but if you have the ability to bump up the f/stop a stop or two, you could have. On the second photo I'm having trouble telling exactly what is in focus on the flower. Another stop would have gotten the whole flower in focus, while still keeping that nice background blur.
Hopefully this doesn't come off as mean-spirited, just trying to give some constructive criticism.
JGWINot one to really do flower shots but this one seemed to turn out decent.
Should've I turned the aperture up more? I was trying to draw attention to the flower in front but now I think I should've just had the entire foreground in focus.
speedyswapper34my only criticism would be the harsh light, may have been what you are going for but it really just makes harsh shadows or blown out color detail, awesome shot though. a way to diffuse the direct light can be as easy as holding a piece of paper covering the direct sunlight. hope i don't sound like a complete dick
