First time posting here, don't think of myself as a great photographer but I think it's super cool framing life around us into something that lasts forever. Nice to stop and remember life moving fast. These pics are from the last 4ish years of taking pics
#1 - I like it, would be a bit nicer to have some more space between that ski and the top of the frame but that's being picky
#2 - needs to be wider to show the end of the rail and the ride-away, IMO
#3 - sweet, shadows/exposure could come up a bit, but again being picky
#4 - I love the lighting, but it's ever so slightly crooked (feels like the image leans right) and the mountain is off-center.

Sweet, thanks for the critique! Composites are still new to me so you suggestion helps a lot. I also agree on #1 though unfortunately that's all the room I had to work with on this photo. Should have been a step back and a notch higher. Next time.
^All seem a bit underexposed. Bump that off for starters. I don't know whether I'm a big fan of the symmetric geometrical style in the first two, but thats just me.
Sports photos, get their face! Their face usually will make a photo! It doesn't always need them, but it gives the photo some emotion, which I don't feel like this has. Its not bad technically, I just feel like its sorta... dead or something. This isn't to rip on it, but theres not much of a connection to the photo.
Also with ball sports, a nice rule of thumb (but feel free to not do this) that I go by is two (opposing) players and a ball usually make up my best shots.

And I'm not making excuses for the last one but I was shooting that game with a vintage lens with an insane focus throw, so those action (two players and a ball) type shots were hard to get. But I appreciate the feedback man!

Sports are hard, it's all about face, ball, action and background
getting your subject isolated from the background is one of the toughest parts and one of the things that has helped me the most carrying over form field sports to skiing.
A longer lens and a different perspective (get low) will help a lot. Your shot is way too loose as well.
First one would be better it you were 5 steps closer to the face. The background is too distracting. If you're trying to give some context to the tree, I'd try to shoot closer and try to get in the background in the peripherals.
The best one in the set in my opinion. I like the leading lines pointing to the horizon, but the editing looks too VSCO to me. That's just preference though. The pole is a little tall but that's out of your control, unless you try a new angle.
I see what you're doing trying to juxtapose the foreground and the background, but there's too much negative space. Fill your frame. Also not a fan of the editing on this one, try adjusting your white balance so there's less of that pink, I'm sure it was more colorful in person. Maybe decrease your fill light of you added any.
I think they look good despite my mostly negative criticisms (I find negativity more helpful than praise), so much better than my first pictures.
