^To me, this shot embodies more skate culture than showing off the skateboarder doing a trick. Because of this, I want to see more of what's going on outside of the trick. Also the dog is distracting. Just how I feel yos.
Currently working on a photography magazine project about summer in scandinavia, only just realised that quite a few of the other contributors are on NS as well.
Thanks man! Couldn't agree with you more. The little bit of dock has already been cropped out for the zine, and as for the other stuff, I'd have to travel about 3000 miles to retake the shot :(
The magazine started off as a graduation project for me, but it's sort of snowballed into a whole lot more. Basically a collection of pictures taken by 6 young Norwegian photographers documenting summer in Scandinavia. No bullshit, full page pictures, clean design, matte pages, the whole kerfuffle.
I spent two and a half weeks travelling around Norway for the project (I'm one of the 6, as well as the editor) and took a bunch of pictures I'm really pleased with, will post a few once I'm reunited with my hard drive in a few weeks.
Incredibly stoked about the others onboard, everyone has a different style so it comes together nicely.

Here is the correct one. Wish I could have used my tripod but I had to stand on the side of a highway on the guard rail to avoid the power lines interfering with the shot.

Nice use of layering and colour; I feel it would work better as a horizontal though, the woman on the right is awkwardly cut out from the rest of the image.
Went to Albuquerque for the opening day of the Balloon Fiesta. Pretty awesome atmosphere right in the middle of the action walking among hundreds of balloons
Thanks man! It's this slight forest that's on the top of a cliff that is a frequently surfed point break in Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia. Really cool spot, surf can get really nice this time of year too.
