ERICA.MNmy first time shooting skiing and I was really pleased with what I came out with
_RonSwanson_Hmm, pretty dope but I feel your subject is so far away and that it could be cropped in about 3/4ths more than what it is.
ThurnisHaleyIf there was a way to keep the take off in the picture while making the skier appear closer wpild be perfect. in my opinion it looks really good when the takeoff and/orr landing is in the jump
_RonSwanson_move closer and cut out all that open sky
eKriegI go to Colby

rleeOne I took this weekend. Really love it. Was out paddle boarding and came across this old man fishing off a rock in the middle of the ocean. He must have been dropped off by a boat as there was nothing else around him or anyway to get there. Old traditions.

ForcilloThat cloud is totally flipping me off.

CliffyByrothis is out of focus, which is a shame
NotoriousLIPI can't decide which version I like better. The 50mm or the wide angle. Thoughts?

Steezy_PSome of my favorites from my recent trip to Glacier -
No composition here, just thought that these goats were chill as fuck
A couple from the Going to the Sun Road at night:
ThurnisHaleywhat kind of camera and lens did you use for those last 3 pictures?
Steezy_PShot on my t3i and an ef 16-35mm f/2.8l ii usm that I rented.
ThurnisHaleyThey are really sick.
I can't wait to get my camera because there's been so many lowlight/dark photos that i could have taken that in my mind would have been awesome. Or at least if the right person took them they would have been really cool.
CamembertI have zero knowledge but here are my thoughts:
I really like photos with multiple depth layers. You have 3 layers so thats good. I would have liked the shot better if the layers were closer to each other so not so wide in height. Plus the left side is a bit boring so I would focus more on the bigger mountains on the right. Not shure if this was possible but if you could have stand lower you might have got something like this:
Just a quick cut in paint haha hope you understand what I mean..
Again just my thoughts, I would like to get more into photography..
CliffyByroGo check out the star photography thread (on mobile so can't find it), its got a full tutorial on how to do stuff like that
