If there was a way to keep the take off in the picture while making the skier appear closer wpild be perfect. in my opinion it looks really good when the takeoff and/orr landing is in the jump

_RonSwanson_Hmm, pretty dope but I feel your subject is so far away and that it could be cropped in about 3/4ths more than what it is.
Rather than cropping, I'd use a longer zoom lens, move further back and at a little less of an angle to the jump, and get a little more snow and a lot less sky in the frame. This way you can cram everything into the frame and with the longer zoom it will appear bigger so cropping won't be necessary to get close to the action, so to speak.
One I took this weekend. Really love it. Was out paddle boarding and came across this old man fishing off a rock in the middle of the ocean. He must have been dropped off by a boat as there was nothing else around him or anyway to get there. Old traditions.
Definitely like the first one better but that damn runner in the background is really throwing it. Nothing a little photoshop magic can't take care of though!
Thanks guys, I agree that the first one is my favourite, personally. As for the jogger I'll see what I can do, those were quick edits. I also shot an Aventador which I'll post later today after I'm done editing the rest. Let me tell you, that thing (and the Ferrari) is loud and beautiful in person.

Yeah, I was using an minty M42 Mount lens. I went out for a day in NYC and on the first pic I took I realized the focus ring was busted. All of those shots are used with the same lens though, so some of them just happened to work out. I was super bummed by the the NYPD shot.

I have zero knowledge but here are my thoughts:
I really like photos with multiple depth layers. You have 3 layers so thats good. I would have liked the shot better if the layers were closer to each other so not so wide in height. Plus the left side is a bit boring so I would focus more on the bigger mountains on the right. Not shure if this was possible but if you could have stand lower you might have got something like this:
Just a quick cut in paint haha hope you understand what I mean..
Again just my thoughts, I would like to get more into photography..

well then! that thing is bad ass! i love the colors you have on these. i think this one though should have been a bit lower perspective shooting parallel to the road and not so much down on it to really show off the front lines and shape. pretty cool though no doubt
Being a short guy you wouldn't think I'd have that issue haha. Jokes aside I think I would agree with you guys on that, looking at the photo now. I'll check my files to see if I did take one lower but I think not. It was indeed a great evening to shoot the weather was perfect and the colours are pretty much straight out of the camera. I should post the video I took of that aventador, that's a beautiful sound.

For someone that's new that crop job is a lot better than mine. It was already cropped a fair bit (maybe 30% out) but it didn't try it like that. Thanks!
I really liked this one that I took today. Just started taking pics again, took a 2ish month break after trying the 365 challenge. Couldn't get the colors right, went B&W and I thought it came out nicely. Cept there must be a smudge on my sensor that you can see in the upper right hand corner.
