chaiteaAre you open to a little advice? Ok good, here I go, with my unsolicited, amateur, untrained opinion:
Try activating some of the empty space in your photos. On all the last three shots you have posted, there is empty concrete and sky space that just doesn't do much. The side-to-side is awesome; there's stuff going on, it provides context, it's great. But the blank space on the top and bottom is just kind of there. Either get closer, and have the subject take up more of the frame, or find some way to make those parts of the photo do something for you.
Either way though, they're looking good.
_RonSwanson_Fuck yeah man!!! I miss HK so bad!
rleeYea, thanks! You used to live in HK or just visit for a holiday?
I liked this when I took it, now I am not so sure, what do you all think?

erikKBlack and white or colour? Please help
JakeSmithI really like the exposure length on these. The way it's short and choppy but still has enough blur really seems to go well with the rugged landscape around the river. Most water shots are taken at waaaay too long of an exposure and they look fake and overly dreamy, but I think you really nailed this one.
erikKBlack and white or colour? Please help
juicedrummer11color for sure. i am a huge fan of color when all the colors are very close to black and white and that pic nails it for me. i feel like you lose some of the character and subtle contrast with the black and white one
Bakerpowpersonally the fence is pretty darn annoying. if the fence wasnt there it be a lot better imo. maybe get a little closer, biker is pretty dark compared to the foreground.
nutz.
Thoughts?

ThurnisHaleyDamn that's really good. I'm really new to this but is there a way that you could bring out the texture in the snow more? so its not like just one big white blob?
_RonSwanson_Graduated filter?
