Binding Tip

I picked this up from my own experience and a little help from the local shop. I was having trouble with marker bindings, the whole heel and brake peice was falling apart. I found that it is caused by the brake levers gettin pushed around from either the other ski (like in a cross) or hitting rails. An easy solution was the cut off the inside brake lever on each binding, left one on the right ski and right one on the left ski. That way the brake to brake interference is prevented and there is still a brake left to keep them from sliding away if they release.

wow, that your dumb, just set up your bindings properly and you wont have any problems at all.

I think it's hard to make a judgement without having seen them. If your question is; will these work with one break then my answer is; sure, I don't see why not. If your question is should I do this; them my answer is most likely no, perhaps they need to be remounted if not mounted properly. I don't know, I'd like to see em' i guess. It's hard to make that kind of judgement.

I wouldnt cut one brake off each ski. First of all bindings are too expensive to do that and secondly, thats that much less drag the ski has when it falls off. It sounds stupid but your ski will travel farther now wehn it pops off. I just wouldnt want to see it hittin some kid or anything. My $.02

the bindings were set up properely, its just a suggestion if your having problems with marker bindings

nevermind, my bindings broke again, it doesnt work, dont buy marker because marker sucks!!!
