Tahoe 06 = Pac NW 05?

Tahoe was expecting 10 inches minimum last night but we ended up wtih a whopping zero inch snow fall. So right now our base is about negative 50 inches.. wtf?
I know it's still early Nov. and all, but the NW has already recieved a bunch of snow. Is Tahoe gonna get shafted like the NW did last year? any of you weather experts please tell me if i should start freakin out or not.

somethings always funny when an eastcoast skiier hears a westcoast skier complain about not getting anything out of a 10 INCH dump...yes i say a dump...in the east coast 10CM is a dump. Be patient man, where i am, we cant start skiing until late december and its over by march

Well, i'm not a weather expert but it seems like on the West coast, we get a bunch of snow and half of it is supposed to go to NW and the other half to Cali. Last year, we clearly stole a shitload of snow from the NW. I'm wondering if they're stealing that shit back for this year. so my question is: If the NW gets more snow than usual, does that usually mean that Tahoe and Mammoth get less snow than usual?

all you NW hippies are cursing yourselves...tahoe usually doesn't get rolling until around thanksgiving folks...don't freak, this is normal, last year was abnormal.

calm down, just chill. like it was mentioned above things dont usually get rolling till around thanksgiving here. still 3 weeks away. dont let last years spoiling make u think that every year thats not like that sucks. and also to correct the starter of this trhead Kirkwood actually got 6 inches last night

YEAH NW. We totally deserve after last year with the worst winter in 30 years or more. I hope the snow gods smile on us and just dump all year.

well on the east we got like 3 feet on some mountains so 10cm isnt really a dump....unless you live in new york

don't worry, and the question if the nw does good does tahoe? Generally yes, If they're getting storms we get storms. Who knows, but it's way too early to start worrying. If it's raining in december like 98? then we've got problems.
