i did the directions on the site to download it for windows and it did but it came in an AVI format with a quicktime logo and i click it and it says it can't open it! How do i download it so i can watch it? and yes i have divx.

right click on what you downloaded choose open with pick media player or whatever your divx player is and it should work

go to www.divx.com they have a free AVI format player, and it's a fast download

no, DivX is a media player line WMP, and REal

all you need to do is open the divx player and then go to 'open' and then find the movie in the folder you saved it in and double click on it, divx only works when you open up the divx player and play it through that

um hats a load of crap, divx is a codec that runs itself thru basically any multimedia player that looks for codecs, ie windows media, real, divx player etc

Divx is a codec for playing videos, but now when you downlaod the most advanced codecs you also get teh divx player. So it is both, now stop fighting over pointless things.
