Anybody else catch Jack Layton press conference today? A liberal amount of slandering (pun intended!) of the the Liberals (even of Paul Martin... ?) but the main point was that he's threatening the liberals to get the a HeathCare package that is in line with the NDP's views. If not *POW!* No-Confidence vote. But I really can't imagine Layton actually doing that. With the Liberals under so much fire, even though Paul Martin is sitting pretty wiht his post-report witchhunt, an election, especially before the liberals push through some last things, could very well mean a conservative victory. Then the NDP views on Heathcare would be worth all of Jack-Shit. Unless of course the NDP were to win the election.
