park, only becasue i am east coast and have never truly experienced real pow...(more than like 4 inches of fresh snow)...and am a custom to groomed hills and extremley icy terrain.
I like people like you! You have done a great service to the ski world by making the lift lines one person shorter on powder days, and I commend you for your efforts.
pow when there's pow
park when there's only park
moguls when there's only moguls
ice when there's only ice
sticks and rocks well...not since i left onterrible.
Of course if there was good powder -- not crap -- i would definitly hit up all the pow before the park. But at the same time i don't like people who say stuff on the lines of, "real skiers only go into the park when everything else is bad." I think Belanger said in an article (and I'm paraphrasing), park skiing is what i enjoy at this point in my life, i can go into the BC when i get old.
Anyways, to answer the question, on pow days i usually go hit up pow and run through the park on my way down; because park with pow can be fun sometimes.
if there is pow, ride pow, the rest of the days i spend riding groomers (30%) or park. but for me its alot to throw down a 900 or so (what i am not able to) than to ride serious pow lines on my skiercross skis with fat nose and skinny waist.
